For example, our award winning food waste recycling facility is the only one in the UK equipped with a TOMRA optical sorter. So we are uniquely able to sort and recycle different types of plastic food packaging (we also recycle glass, metal and cardboard packaging of course).
The heart of our business is our anaerobic digestion plant which converts food waste into gas, which we in turn use to generate electricity for the national grid. The income we earn from this and from recycling packaging helps keep costs down. So our food waste disposal services are good value, as well as being great for the environment.
